™️ A welcome drink is the first thing a guest touches. Before the food, before the toast, before they’ve figured out what kind of night they’re in for. Most people treat it as a logistics problem, get a glass in every hand.

We treat it as the first sentence of the evening.
So we don’t hand people a glass of something familiar. This one was a single spherified bite, pea flower tea, clarified cucumber-lime, fennel, sealed inside a thin membrane that bursts the moment it hits your mouth.

The first thing that happens to a guest is surprise. They look at the person next to them. They start talking.
That’s the actual job. Not the drink. The drink is the excuse.

The job is turning a room of strangers into a room that’s already talking before anyone says a word.

We design for how guests feel, not just what they drink.

™️ One bite. It bursts in your mouth. That was the welcome.

Best of 2026 put the whole industry in one room, and we got to open the night alongside at their new Linden Club. Two spherified cocktails, a ruby tequila-hibiscus and a purple pea flower mocktail, each one a single bite that breaks the second it hits your mouth.

Served in the little gold coupes, 24 Carrots found for them, which beat anything we’d have reached for ourselves.

When a partner is this dialed in, the work just gets better.

™️ The came with a theme: rooted in connection. What made it work was watching a dozen people each take that idea and run it through their own craft.

built the whole thing around it. Wild West’s florals, the paper goods, the long tables under the oaks at , the band playing into the dark, the vintage Porsche parked out front like it had always been there. Every piece said the same thing in a different language.

Our piece lived in the glass. We printed the night’s theme on sugar paper and set it on the rim of every coupe, so the drink carried the same idea everyone else was building into the room.

That’s what a good brief does. It gives everyone the same north star and then gets out of the way. This team got it right.

™️ Growth taught us some very important.

Skill and technique matter. You need a bartender who can build a drink fast, clean, and consistent across 200 guests. That’s the floor. But skill alone doesn’t deliver the night someone is paying you to deliver.
The harder part, the part that actually makes or breaks an event, is everything you can’t really put on a resume.

How you read a room. How you treat the guest who’s had three already and just wants to feel taken care of. How you handle a planner mid-event when something’s gone sideways. How you carry yourself when you’re the only person standing between a host and their stress.

That stuff isn’t technique. It’s a way of thinking about hospitality. It’s a belief about what an event actually is, not a job, but someone’s wedding, someone’s launch, someone’s once-in-a-lifetime night. And you can’t borrow that from a freelance roster. You can’t fake it with a uniform.

So a few years in, we stopped trying to find people who already had it and started building it ourselves. We opened a training room at . We brought in people we believed in and taught them not just how to pour, but how we think, how we treat events, how we treat clients, how we treat the experience itself.

That’s Kinberlyn. A few weeks ago she was in our academy. Last weekend she ran a bar like she’d been doing it for years. Because by the time she got to the event, she wasn’t just trained in technique. She was trained in how we show up.

The drink is the easy part. The night is the whole thing.

™️ Kids leaning over the bar. Parents pulling out their phones. A crowd that stayed all night.

That’s what a Bar Mitzvah bar should look like, and it only happens when the planner builds the room for it. RAH Events gave us the space to bring the full experience: liquid nitrogen, fire, edible cocktails, and a few surprises that kept guests coming back between songs.

The bar didn’t serve the night. It carried part of it.
