Let’s have an honest conversation about what it actually costs to remodel your kitchen.

Because we’ve seen it time and time again here on the ‘gram or our favorite HGTV shows.

Sharing those $75,000 kitchen projects, and now everyone has that number in their head.

But here’s what you’re not considering:
→ the square footage of your space
→ full gut remodel versus layout adjustments
→ custom cabinetry versus semi-custom cabinetry
→ moving electrical or plumbing
→ finishing levels
→ licensed trades versus DIY
→ the age and wear of your walls, electrical, plumbing, etc.

A more realistic mid-size kitchen remodel will look like $120,000 – $300,000+ depending on the level of design, construction, and renovation your space needs.

Realistically, you’re not just paying for some Home Depot cabinets and countertops.

You’re investing in skilled tradesman, a thoughtful layout, quality materials and finishings, and a space that your family can actually live in daily.

The difference?

Clarity.

Luxury design is not a 5-year proposition.

When we design a home, we design it for the full arc of a family’s life inside it. Children who grow up and come back. Lifestyles that evolve. Bodies that age. Families that expand.

Here is how we design for longevity:

→ FLEXIBLE FLOOR PLANS — Rooms that serve one purpose now and can serve another in fifteen years. The bonus room that becomes a primary suite for aging-in-place. The playroom that becomes a home office when the kids leave.

→ HARDWARE AND FIXTURES THAT TRANSCEND TRENDS — Unlacquered brass. Polished nickel. Matte black in the right application. These finish families have been beautiful for a century and will be for another. The trending finish choices rarely outlast the renovation.

→ NEUTRAL ARCHITECTURE, BOLD INTERIORS — We keep the bones quiet and the furnishings expressive. Architecture is expensive to change. Upholstery and wallpaper are not. Design accordingly.

→ QUALITY MILLWORK OVER FURNITURE — Built-ins last the life of the home. A freestanding cabinet does not. Invest in the permanent. Replace the impermanent when the design evolves.

→ LIGHTING INFRASTRUCTURE FOR FLEXIBILITY — The fixture can change. The wiring and switch positions cannot. Design a lighting plan robust enough to accommodate the next three design evolutions.

Thoughtful decisions made at the beginning produce ease that compounds for decades.

This is how we think about every project.

Storage in a luxury home is not shelves and drawers.

It is the invisible architecture of your daily life.

And it requires as much strategic thinking as your kitchen layout or your material palette… arguably more, because when it fails, you feel it every single day.

Here is how we approach storage design in full-home projects:

→ DESIGN THE CHAOS FIRST: Before we design the beautiful, we map every item that enters this home: shoes, sports equipment, groceries, gifts, seasonal items, the things your family accumulates that have no home yet. Storage is designed around real life, not ideal life.

→ ZONE BY FREQUENCY: Daily-use items within arm’s reach, weekly within easy reach, seasonal in deep storage. This single principle prevents the entropy that makes beautiful homes feel cluttered within a year.

→ CONCEAL COMPLETELY OR DISPLAY INTENTIONALLY: There is no middle ground. Built-in millwork that hides everything behind flush doors, or open shelving styled with full intention. Half-hidden is the enemy of both function and beauty.

→ LABEL, ORGANIZE, MAINTAIN: We deliver every home with every storage system organized. Labeled pantry. Sorted closets. Categorized mudroom cubbies. The reveal experience sets the standard you maintain.

→ BUILD MORE THAN YOU THINK YOU NEED: In 10+ years, not one client has said ‘I designed too much storage.’ Every single one who cut storage for budget has regretted it.

Storage is not a secondary design decision.

It is the foundation of a home that functions as beautifully as it looks.

Milan isn’t just a destination for us..
it’s part of the process.

Salone del Mobile (Milan Design Week)is where the world’s most visionary designers gather.

Where materials are reimagined, craftsmanship is elevated, and the future of how we live begins to take shape.

We come here to immerse ourselves.

To experience design at its highest level, so we can bring that depth, that detail, that feeling back to the homes we create for our clients.

Because truly exceptional homes aren’t designed from a catalog.

They’re inspired by the world, curated with intention, and crafted around the life you want to live every single day.

This is how immersive luxury begins.
