The Vineyards Restaurant is going out of business... but we don't want to. It is true and we are so brokenhearted by this sudden news. Some may know that Pirtle Winery owns the property that this long standing restaurant that I have had the honor of owning & operating for the past 13 years sits within. They have decided to end the lease since they have other plans for the property (let's hope that apart of those plans is to finally make the much needed repairs this historic building has needed for so very long). So our hands are tied & we are pushed out.
Our last day of business will be December 5th. We know so many of you have special memories here at The Vineyards .. sharing meals with loved ones here & loved ones since lost, wedding proposals, 1st anniversaries to 34th ( I think was the longest one I've heard so far coming each year), celebrating new years, new babies, or just coming every so often to connect with us. We hope you'll come by during these last few weeks we have & share your stories, have some of your favorite foods, (give those treacherous stairs 1 more go!).. just enjoy Vineyards & help lift our heavy hearts a bit with your presence.
