Today is a very important day.

The World Cup is on.
The New Orleans Ramparts kick off at 7 PM.
AND Coach Joey is celebrating another trip around the sun. 🎂

So here’s the game plan:

🍕 Grab dinner at Mo’s.
⚽️ Wish Coach Joey a happy birthday.
💙💛 Head to Pan American Stadium and cheer on the Ramparts.

He’s our favorite coach, our first son-in-law, and today’s birthday boy. We can’t promise he’ll appreciate everyone reminding him he’s getting older… but we’re gonna do it anyway. 😏

If that’s not a sign to skip cooking dinner, we don’t know what is.

Come cool off, grab a pizza, watch some soccer, and let somebody else worry about dinner for a change.

Because honestly, standing over a stove tonight sounds like a personal attack.

Catch them Saturday, June 13, 2026 at Pan-American Stadium in New Orleans with kickoff at 7pm. Coach Joey has officially converted us into soccer fans around here, and we’re not mad about it.

We want to sincerely apologize for the air conditioning issues we’ve been experiencing. It’s definitely not “88 degrees” as some of you keep posting but we know it’s hot, uncomfortable, and frustrating, and we truly appreciate everyone’s patience while we work to get it resolved. We hate it just as much as you do!

If you’re still trying to figure out dinner, that’s on you.

We’ve been over here making homemade lasagna all day.

Loaded with homemade meat sauce, creamy ricotta, and plenty of Grande mozzarella, then served with Leidenheimer poboy bread toasted with homemade garlic butter.

At this point, we’re not sure what more you want from us.

The lasagna is ready.
