🎸 Big news, Lake Almanor — Waganupa Brewing is bringing a nationally touring act to our stage for a very special ticketed evening!
The Lowdown Drifters are coming to Waganupa Brewing on Sunday, August 9th — and this one is unlike anything we've done before.
Road-tested for nearly a decade, the Lowdown Drifters have built their reputation playing one-night stands to their self-proclaimed "tens of fans" across the nation — and those fans keep coming back. Fort Worth, Texas based by way of California, Washington, and Minnesota, their brand of "sad bastard songs" is as likely to get you dancing as crying. Led by John Cannon's poetic rasp, they've played Gruene Hall, Cain's Ballroom, and the Ryman Auditorium. Their hit "Fire in Her Eyes" has over 30 million Spotify streams — and now they're rolling into Lake Almanor on their 2026 nationwide tour in support of their new single "Get Up."
