A fresh line up of wines by the glass and a few new cocktails debuting tonight. Like this one called the Undertow; vodka and rum combine with sherry, passion fruit liqueur, lime, orgeat and topped with tonic and mint, it’s a refresher that packs a punch!

A quick note about reservations at Henni’s…

We often get asked why reservations are only available earlier in the evening.

We love being a place where you can decide at 7:00 that a great dinner sounds like a good idea and have a good chance of finding a table.

Reservations are available from 5:00–6:00 pm, with seatings every 15 minutes. After 6:00 pm, we welcome guests on a walk-in basis.

By reserving only a portion of our dining room, we’re able to take care of guests who like to plan ahead while still leaving plenty of room for spontaneous evenings.

If you’d like the certainty of having a table waiting for you, simply send us a text to reserve one of our early seatings.

Joining us later? Come on by! If there happens to be a wait, we’ll add you to our text waitlist so you’re free to explore while your table is prepared. Enjoy a cocktail or a glass of wine nearby, browse the shops, or simply soak in our little three-block downtown. We’ll text you the moment your table is ready.

Whether you’re a planner or the kind of person who decides at the last minute, we’re glad you’re here.

We wrapped up our first Farmer’s Market today, a big thanks to all our friends who came and tried our offerings! You can find the Henni’s family every Tuesday at White Salmon’s Farmer’s Market!
This week we did strawberry tarts, Durbin Curry Pies, Bobotie Sausage rolls, mushroom pies and snow cones made with our own fresh syrups from local fruits.

Spring has arrived at Henni’s.

A new menu from Chef Christiaan, fresh wines curated by Ally Van Dorsten, and an inventive new cocktail lineup by Peter Mullins—each one inspired by the season and the place we call home.

We’re also bringing back this special logo by artist . Originally created for our 10-year anniversary (paused by 2020), it feels even more meaningful now—16 years in, still here, still growing, still gathering.

Henni’s has always been about more than a meal. It’s a small, family-owned restaurant rooted in the Columbia River Gorge—shaped by its seasons, its beauty, and the people who make this place what it is.

Though Chef/Owner Christiaan Erasmus was born in South Africa, he and Sarah Morton-Erasmus have built Henni’s as a reflection of both where they come from and where they’ve chosen to stay—food, wine, and hospitality inspired by the world, grounded right here.
