It is a true treasure to know someone who dedicates their life to making a difference.
For more than 60 years, Bettye Ricks devoted her heart, leadership, and unwavering commitment to Camp Fire North Texas, helping shape an organization that has touched countless students, families, and community members.
Decades of service represent so much more than time. They represent generations of young people encouraged to discover their potential, families supported, relationships built, and a community strengthened through a shared belief in investing in our next generation.
Bettye's legacy is not simply measured by the years she served, but by the lives she influenced and the opportunities she helped create. Her dedication laid a foundation that continues to support Camp Fire's mission of supporting the building of caring, confident youth and future leaders.
As we reflect on her passing, we do so with tremendous gratitude for the life she lived, the leadership she provided, and the lasting difference she made.
