We have a great patio out front for people watching and a larger deck out back to enjoy a wonderful Kansas evening. We get our beans from PT's Roasters out of Topeka. We, and our regular customers are quite pleased with the products. The Vagabond also has a full service bar with many di

fferent spirits, cocktails, martinis, beers and wines. You will never be lacking for something to do at the Vagabond. Books surround the place, we have a selection of board games, a Megatouch video game and plenty of good conversation at our bar! Come down and see what we are all about; you won't be disappointed! If you're interested in showing 10-15 pieces of your art for a 30-day period the Vagabond doesn't charge any commission on art sales - all the money goes directly to you! The Vagabond is back open and our plumbing issues have been resolved. Thank you for your support and understanding. We look forward to seeing each and every one of you again.

The Vagabond will be closed Sunday, November 30 and Monday, December 1.

We apologized but this plumbing issue has turned out to be complicated. The break in the sewer line is in the alley and with the weather, the fix is not scheduled until Tuesday morning.

We plan on being open Tuesday at 5 pm. Thanks for your patience and understanding!

The Vagabond will be closed down Thursday, November 20 and Friday, November 21st due to emergency plumbing issues. Hopefully everything is fixed by Saturday and we can reopen, but we will let you know. We will miss you but hope to see you soon!

The Vagabond will open at 9am this Saturday, March 15th for the Delano St. Patrick's Day Parade. Come early and get the best seat in town while enjoying a tasty beverage. Also, support this troop of Girl Scouts who will be selling cookies during the parade in our parking lot.

Delano has always had a bit of a rebellious streak—from its days as a cowtown watering hole to the vibrant entertainment district it is today. That’s why I’m proposing a Common Consumption Area, allowing people to enjoy their drinks while strolling between businesses, just like in other entertainment hubs across the country. I’ve already begun discussions with colleagues, my Advisory Board, neighbors, businesses, organizations, and WPD. This Thursday I’ll be seeking feedback from the Delano Business Association.

Common Consumption makes sense for Delano’s walkable, lively atmosphere. What do you think—should we embrace Delano’s spirited past and make this happen?

I hope to have an ordinance presented to Council by early this Summer.

I've been trying to visit some smaller bars around town to give them a bit of love. One of the latest stops was to grab a quick drink with some friends in Delano at The Vagabond Cafe.
