DON'T FORGET, CALLING ORDERS AHEAD ARE ALWAYS WELCOME. LARGE ORDERS MUST BE CALLED IN ADVANCE! Vietnamese food is generally influenced by the French (if you know your history, they had invaded Vietnam in 1850's). So our bread that we make and use is what is known as the French bread. The bread is not hard, but it isn't soft. It is just right, with an outer crispy and soft inside that makes a good sandwich bread. We are specializing in sandwiches which are becoming very popular. Pho is the more popular Vietnamese food that Americans are familiar with. Banh Mi shops are not as common in areas that are not major cities. Currently, more of the Banh Mi shops are in California, Houston, Boston. But Wichita is on its way to becoming more of a city and we want to spread some more culture influences. But now Wichita has a Banh Mi shop that they can get familiar with! All of our sandwiches come with the same toppings: pickled carrots and radishes (they aren't sour pickled, more of a sweetness to the pickled vegetables), Vietnamese mayonnaise, jalapenos or bird chilli peppers, cucumbers, and cilantro. Depending on which meat selection for the sandwich, patte is also spread on the sandwich. The combination of these ingredients makes you want to get more and more of these sandwiches! Other items are our pastries made fresh daily: The cocoon (basically a pig in a blanket with our sweet bread wrapped around it), birds nest (sweet bread with savory sausage, bits of hot dogs, green onions, Vietnamese mayonnaise), and crab shaped sweet bread in plain or stuffed with cream cheese. Our Vietnamese ice coffee is amazing! Even if you are not a big coffee drinker, it is delicious. It is a French roast with condense milk. Other beverages are our home made organic soymilk made from Annie. It has ginger in it that gives it a little bit of a flavor. It is a sweet drink that kids absolutely love. But it is also organic and healthier than the processed soy milk sold in stores. We also sell this as a gallon. We also have boboa drinks with tropical, coffee flavors, and mango which is made here! Cola products and bottled water is also available! Come and try out our food!
