So many new items dropped off today by two of the vendors who sell in the shop. Sharon has been sewing with more patriotic and summer fabrics. Diane brought in quite a few garden gates perfect for a landscaping project or porch decor. Think of the possibilities like a bunting or swag draped across it for the Fourth of July. There’s always something new in the shop so drop in and be inspired with something that you could use.

Tomorrow is the last day for soup on the menu until next Labor Day weekend. Throughout the summer there will be fresh salads and sides as a choice on the menu in place of soup.

Moving forward with this project painting the wall behind the Airstream and adding a wicker chair seating arrangement in front of the window. Baked a sourdough strawberry blueberry cobbler to bring to a gathering with friends. It was a new recipe that I tried from Amy Bakes Bread amybakesbread . It was delicious served warm with vanilla ice cream!

Sharon has recently made these pieced fabric flags in two different sizes that are perfect for tabletop centerpieces. Or use them as a trivet for your hot dishes!

See you tomorrow for another piece of that delicious Bishop Pie! Bernie Sykes contributed the recipe in the 1984 Blairsburg UCC Church Cookbook. We will be taking a summer nostalgic trip as I use recipes from several vintage local cookbooks for the lunch menu choices.
