This week will be hard on downtown businesses, because 4th street from Market to Hepburn will be closed Wednesday through Friday for repairs.

Parking is available on Market Street, and at the municipal lot next to the library.

If the heat doesn't keep you away, and the road paving doesn't keep you away, we will have some good things to reward your tenacity as our ride or die patrons.

Our Favorite Summer Tisanes and Teas

Herbal tisanes are great to beat the heat!
The Best Thing about them in the summer time
is that you can replace your daily water intake needs with herbal blends!
A couple of our summer favorites:

Chill Out: a combo of oat straw, nettle, linden, lavender
this combo cools the body mind and spirit while replenishing lost electrolytes.
Rose Tulsi- a combo of rose petals and krishna tulsi that treat a tired body to a treat. Contains Vitamin C and compounds to support the body during the stress of the season or the stress of life. It reinvigorates and restores, balances out blood sugar, and the HP Axis (hypothalamus, pituitary, adrenal axis)

Green tea is always a good idea, but when iced cools a hot and tired system from the inside out! We love these:

Jasmine Gold Dragon: Spring Sencha wrapped around night blooming jasmine flowers. Cools the body, lowers stress hormones, balances blood sugar.
Gyokuro: a deeply nourishing antioxidant rich tea to support summer's stressors on the body. Stabilizing and cooling, this shade grown tea is a great way to show yourself some love💗

CHILL!

A serious summer blend to keep you cool and hydrated whether iced or, dare I say it, hot! Add some blue lavender syrup and the color is the shade of Mill creek or the Loyalsock, or the Susquehanna and we really don’t think that’s a bad thing. I like to sip it without syrup because the oats make it naturally sweet. Chill out! It’s a delight 💙
