Happy International Tea Day from the tea gardens! Our group picked tea on the slopes of the hill. Our tea level was grade 1-2 and the slope grade goes up to 10!!! Crazy, I could hardly keep my balance. I definitely grabbed on to a bush a time or two so I didn’t fall.

Out of order, out of this world. Here is a glimpse of traveling through Nepal. There are stretches of pavement, dirt roads, and twists and switchbacks. Every so often we roll into a village. This time we stopped for a quick bite and some shopping.

My group is now traveling with backpacks since our stays include walking to our accommodations for the night. Super happy with my and the help I received . Be sure to follow as I share my experience in the Nepali hills. (I guess everything is a hill when compared to Mt Everest!)

Day 2 of this epic journey in Nepal! We were getting acclimated to our new time zone and took in some amazing sites. This day was a bit more immersive than the previous. We learned about art and tried our hand at pottery. It was a great day for sure.

The countdown is on! Wheels up on Mother’s Day. I’m excited to take you on an adventure! Where to you ask? Nepal with and their Nepal Tea Tour. I will be traveling with my globe trotting daughter .

On my to-do list this week is prepacking. This is important because we are also taking side quests. First and last is to Hong Kong (two 16 hour layovers). After Nepal will be a quick trip for two days in India! So, that’s a lot of outfits for different temperatures, cultures and activities. I’m so happy to have consulted with our across the street neighbors on what’s best when doing an eco tour. (I was nervous because this is really outside of my element!!!)
