Direct from Tokyo’s Toyosu Market, this weekend’s shipment features rare seasonal delicacies!🇯🇵

The absolute highlight is the Tokishirazu Salmon. “Tokishirazu” translates to “the salmon that doesn’t know time.” These wild-caught fish get confused and swim near the coast way too early in the spring/summer. Because they aren’t ready to lay eggs yet, they don’t waste any energy. 100% of the rich fat stays locked inside the meat, creating an incredibly buttery flavor that normal salmon can never match!🔥❤️🍣
