🚨Beer Today, Gone Tomorrow!!!🚨

Well.... technical gone July 1st.

As we previously announced we had made the decision to discontinue alcohol sales.

So after July 1st, our beer coolers are officially retiring 🍺

The beer may be leaving, but the great pizza, ice cream, salad bar and friendly faces will still be here waiting for you.

Come enjoy one last call, as always please drink responsibly.

Tonight, after returning from the concert, we spent part of our evening reviewing surveillance footage from an incident that occurred at Pizza Americana.

A customer became verbally aggressive toward our staff and other customers after being informed that certain very minor items were unavailable. They were offered a refund but became disgruntled. The situation escalated to the point that he was repeatedly asked to leave the premises.

What concerned us most was that the behavior was directed at our team members, many of whom are teenagers working hard.

After reviewing the footage, we are proud of how our staff handled the situation. They remained professional, followed procedures, notified management immediately. We called Law enforcement to document the incident.

The individual involved will not be permitted to return ever.

At Pizza Americana, we believe everyone deserves to be treated with respect.

No sale will ever be worth subjecting anyone to this behavior. Which seems to be happening more frequently.

We sincerely apologize to any customers who witnessed this.

It was like watching an episode of “what would you do”. We watched customers be appalled by the behavior, we watched customers step in and we had customers willing to provide statements.

We hate that our staff was subjected to this difficult situation but they handled it.

We have said it before and we will say it again, we will not tolerate any type of this behavior.

🍕🎶 Just a few things we’ve been up to this week at Pizza Americana…

🍦 Scooped 100 cups of ice cream for a wedding. That’s a lot of brain freezes and happy guests!

🚗 Delivered pizzas all the way to Pomona. Because sometimes great pizza needs a road trip.

📦 Folded 200+ personal pizza boxes… only to completely change our strategy for Saturday at Pine Meadows. As I always say, I’m a woman and fully entitled to change my mind. 😎

🔥 Had a Thursday that looked a whole lot more like a Friday (and it was stellar!). Let’s do it again Friday!!

👋 Said goodbye (again) to Brady. We’ll miss you, but please come back soon… if for no other reason than our entertainment. 😂

💍 Put the finishing touches on a wedding we’re catering Saturday. Nothing says “I do” quite like pizza!

♟️ Played two games of checkers with our youngest employee, he’s super cool 😎. I won both games. I am currently undefeated and enjoying these small victories while they last… because I’m pretty sure he’s going to smoke me next time. 😂
