As of yesterday Salita Pizza is officially 3 years old. Not sure how we got here or where we go from here, but let’s just say it has been a wild ride of so many ups and a fair share of downs, but we are still here and we wouldn’t trade it for the world. This has been an opportunity to be us, to do pizza our way, to run our business our way, to stand behind our beliefs both culinarily and socially. We have never changed who we are, or what we believe in, or how we serve our food and you all continually show up week after week, it’s seems surreal to be here, but it’s happening. Are we where we had hoped we would be 3 years in, not really, but we can say we have stayed true to ourselves. We have so many hopes and dreams of where we see this company growing, but we just aren’t there yet, maybe someday we can show you all what we are truly capable of doing, (If you want to help us grow and invest in some people that have dedicated their whole lives to this industry, dm me) but until then we hope to continue to see you show up at our little window for our little (and burnt) pizzas, bagels and soft serve and whatever the hell else we decide to throw at you. Our gratitude for this community cannot be measured and all we can say is thank you, we love you, and we appreciate you all. To our farmers, we owe you all so much and wouldn’t be who we are without you. 3 is our special number, so maybe this will be our year. Much love and many thanks to you all, now come eat some pizza and give us a high five or 3.
