Hey everyone, we got some fun and exciting news. Some of you may remember that back in November and December we did a food drive to benefit Wilsonville Community Sharing and during that one of the biggest things we heard was a lot of you want to donate but can’t always make it there before they close at 1pm. We’ve also seen Wilsonville Community Sharing post that they are in need of help, and we figured we can solve both of these issues. So as of today we are partnering with Wilsonville Community Sharing to be an after hours drop off spot for them. Right inside our taproom doors there is now a drop location that we will take over every other week. This section has their donation rules, things they need and a list of drop off dates. This area is before the bar and so it is all ages also. Drinking is not required to donate, but if I were you I’d reward myself for a good deed with a beer. 🍺

Vanguard has always been a community driven place and we want to help the community that always helps us. So let’s band together and help Wilsonville Community Sharing. Sometimes a little help goes a long way. We’ll see you soon. Cheers! 🍻

It’s time again for Trivia Tuesdays here at Vanguard! If you’re tired of being stuck inside from the heatwave or your house is a little full from the kids being out of school or the kids being back from college we have the solution for you. Our taproom is fully A/C and we have Graham of Stumptown Trivia & Bingo coming out to host general trivia. Signups starts at 6:00, plays at 6:30. Don’t forget to check our story for the visual clues. And before you worry about missing the World Cup, we’ll have that on in the background. So bring some friends, or make some new ones, grab a pint, grab a bite, and let’s have some fun. Here is our preview for Portland Mercury . Join us June 22nd until the 28th for our Street Corn Nachos special. There’s a lot to these nachos. Topped with elote street corn, jalapeño lime crema, sliced jalapeños and more. They taste too good to describe in a post online. Pair these with your favorite Vangaurd beer and you’re all set for a good time. So that means you’ll have to come and try them yourselves. We’ll see you next week, come hungry and thirsty! Happy Saturday everyone! We hope you are enjoying this sun as much as us after the rainy week we had. Once you’re done with your fun morning plans why don’t you stop by for a pint and a bite. Our beer garden is open and our umbrellas are up if you want to enjoy the weather, or join us inside and beat the heat. We’ll have the World Cup and NBA finals on tonight.
