It’s your lucky 🍀 Monday! We have chicken livers and cooked cabbage requested so we promised to fix them. Chicken liver plate and 2 sides for $11.99. Additional sides can be added. We also have a vegetable plate everyday for 3 side dishes of your choice and piece of our homemade cornbread for $11.99

We have broccoli casserole, mashed taters and gravy, green beans, macaroni and cheese, pinto beans and cornbread and many others sides to choose from.

We have our made from scratch chicken salad and pimento cheese available as well. 🤗 AND yes tons and tons of desserts.

Maybe you didn’t have the opportunity to get out for lunch today. There’s always tomorrow to come join us for a delicious lunch. Well we are slightly embarrassed and highly disappointed in the weather forecasting from WLEX and WKYT. We lost an entire day of business and not a drop of rain. 🤦‍♀️ We have lost faith in their ability to forecast weather and we highly recommend you follow Ryan Hall.

We will be back open tomorrow and hope you come out and support a small business and get you some grub! We will have meatloaf and our famous Hotbrown. 🤗.

We have been keeping an eye out on the weather reports for tomorrow and so far it looks like storms will be moving in right about the time of our opening and continue to worsen during our business hours. We have made the difficult decision not to open tomorrow because not many people run out in the middle of a thunderstorm to eat lunch at little country cafes and of course to keep our die hard customers and staff safely at home. We will open up back to normal business hours on Wednesday so please come out and show us some love 🤗. Everyone stay safe and keep your eyes on the sky. ❤️

Before we talk about our specials for tomorrow we would like to take this opportunity to let everyone know that we take the cyclosporiasis very serious. Our salads are not made with prebagged lettuce. All salads we make are made fresh to order from whole and uncut lettuce. All of our produce is fresh and locally purchased. Also, all of our kitchen staff have manger level food handlers license and they are properly trained how to safely handle produce that enters our store. Last week as a team we discussed new ideas and procedures that we have put into place for extra safety for everyone. Your safety is our priority. Over the weekend we visited our local farmers market and are local grocery stores and we were pleased to see that everyone is aware and actively taking extra steps towards safety. This is when being a small local business is beneficial. We are not mass producing any food and we have more of an opportunity to buy local quality food.

Monday special is of course our famous delicious and cold chicken salad fruit plate. We will have our loved meatloaf and special side dish of peas available. Soup of the day will be sausage and cheese tortellini soup. 🤗 Come have lunch with us.

Tomorrow we will have our famous meatloaf plate with 2 premium sides for $11.99. Of course we will have mashed potatoes with our delicious gravy, green beans and adding sweet peas. 🤗.
