As most of you know, I suffered a stroke last year. This was followed by a difficult winter and I’ll be unable to open the stand this season. I will ,however, continue to do my best to maintain the farm, God willing. I noticed my first tomato blossom this morning. My blossom is not knowing the difference between last season or the next. I have hope to watch it grow into a full and vibrant piece of fruit.
Like the tomato blossom, we can’t predict the outcome or much else really. I have learned how fragile and fleeting life is. And blossoms aren’t forever. I encourage you to live today to the fullest, say your prayers, and I hope with you they come true. This is a picture of sitting on my grandpa’s lap. All the world was a wonder! The second picture is a beautiful morning picture of the present. I want to capture that wonder I once had and hold onto it every day. The wonder of the new and beautiful blossom.
