Looks like summer is finally starting up! Apologies for the lack of events and happenings since St. Patrick's day, travelers, it's been a busy start to the year with much in store for the Prancing Pony.

Some events to come soon include our Western themed Saloon Party, where the Prancing Pony will be done up in the style of a Saloon from the worlds of Tombstone, Deadwood, etc. Hats and six-shooters will be encouraged, as are fist fights. Just be sure to take it outside.

Just a friendly reminder for those looking to attend the Winter Is Coming party, who may or may not be familiar with some of the Tavern rules.

The Prancing Pony is a somewhat secluded, defensible, safe location that's general defended by armed descendants of Vikings, Frankish and English knights, pirates, etc. who love to bring people together for general merriment, debauchery, heavy imbibing, and good food.

What these [questionably] sane, fine folks like most, is not being driven insane by people arguing, causing issues, or putting other people down. Drinks will often come first in an effort to alleviate the tension. Axes tend to come next.

So if you'll be attending this party, in light of the division over the recent election we ask you to remain in high spirits, and check any confrontational thoughts or feelings at the door with your cloak. Please do not bring heated and dividing conversation into the tavern with you, or you will be asked to leave. We only ask once.

We want all of our guests to have a good time, feel safe, welcomed, and most of all to feel protected. So with that, just remember one thing...
