Good evening! I just wanted to give a quick update. Things are coming along nicely, and we are anticipating opening in the next few weeks starting with breakfast service. This will help us get acclimated to our kitchen. We will progress into dinner service slowly, with soft openings to help us get organized, and to also properly serve our customers. I cannot wait to serve our community some great homestyle meals and custom smoked meats! I will post our menu once we get the finishing touches on it.

We are looking for some local teenagers who are interested in making a little extra cash!

Tasks would include painting and other odd jobs around the restaurant so that we can finally turn that OPEN sign!

‼️CRITICAL UPDATE‼️

Good morning, Winnebago,

We have had a lot of people asking whether we are still opening or not. We have been moving forward the best we can, and are SO close to being able to open, but we've run into some issues and could use the help of the community.

Unfortunately, the Village of Winnebago has made it impossible for us to move forward as a sit down restaurant. So, after careful thought and consideration, we have decided that Table Talk Supper Club will be opening only as a catering kitchen. This way we can still serve our community, which has always been the goal!

Our fire department, local building inspectors, the Winnebago County Health Department, and even Four Rivers Sanitation have been so helpful and welcoming, and we are so thankful for that.

Here's how you can help:

There is a Village Board Meeting tomorrow, Wednesday, June 18th, at 6:00 pm at The Village Hall. If you would like to see ANY new businesses opening in the future in Winnebago, we encourage you to show up and show your support. If you'd like to speak at the meeting, or if you have any other questions or concerns, please contact the Village Office.

We want to see Winnebago thrive, and, at this point, the only way that's going to happen is for the community to rally together at these meetings and make a change.

We're sure you've all heard rumors about a new restaurant coming to Winnebago, so we'd like to officially announce that Table Talk Supper Club will be opening soon!

If you happened to have stopped by the community event held by The Scoop and Glennigans Kitchen on the 4th of July last year, you wouldn't even recognize the inside of that blue building now! Construction is progressing nicely, we are working with the health department to finalize the layout, and we hope to be open this spring.

A little about us...

Table Talk will combine the atmosphere of a Northwoods supper club with small town charm. Offering breakfast, lunch, and dinner, with dine-in and carry-out options, our menu will cater to a wide variety of tastes and preferences. We'll be sure to have all of your cravings covered, from the basic bacon and eggs, to loaded up skillets and some of the best biscuits and homemade sausage gravy around, to burgers and other sandwiches, to beloved staples such as a fresh salad bar, hand breaded fried chicken and fish, specialty prime rib nights, seasonal specials, and expertly smoked meats by our own on-site pit master. Our products and ingredients will be locally sourced to support our local farmers, bringing patrons a farm to table dining experience.
