Heyyyy, my peeps! I keep telling y’all I value my people, and yesterday was no different. After the Mississippi Crossroads Farmer’s Market, Amy Howard Haleyand Gabrielle Turner came to the Winona Country Club to help this tired ole girl with some much needed cleaning/straightening/organizing! It’s still not perfect, but it’s leaps and bounds better than it was when we started. Every step is a step.
As bad as I wanted to do Sunday Togo plates today, it’s just not happening, but IT’S COMING! My target date to start that is Sunday October 6th.
Again, thank yous are never enough, but I am truly thankful for everyone that came out Thursday night and allowed us to cook supper for you! Despite the tea machine going on the blink and a few minor issues, the turnout was amazing!! When you sell out not once, but TWICE, I call that a win!! Thank you again, I hope you all enjoyed it.
The single most asked question I have gotten has been, “Will you be open at night?”
The answer to that is yes, eventually, but not yet. We still have equipment to swap out and things that just can’t happen in a snap, but it will happen. My goal is to accommodate YOUR needs, so what is that? Life is crazy busy for everyone these days. Kids, sports, work, school, homework, dance, football, the list never ends, right? So, what are your needs?
Meal Prep? Lunches for yourself? For the kiddos? Casseroles you can pop in the oven when you get home while you’re helping with homework or giving baths? Home cooked meals that are ready to eat because you had to work late and now your whole routine is thrown off? These are the things I’m interested in knowing from you! As far as opening at night, we all know that’s a huge need. My initial thought has been Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights. If the need is every night, we can grow into that.

Oct 3-5 I will not be open due to a previously booked wedding, but I do intend to start Sunday plates on the 6th!
