Transparency Post…
First thing’s first. I want to thank every single person that has allowed me to feed your soul and fill your bellies for the last several months. When things go unused for a period of time, the quality and efficiency of those things decline.
With that being said, The Turn, LLC is going to be out of service for a while for required and much needed maintenance. It is undetermined right now how long this will take, but as I have always said, every step is a step.
I want to personally thank Benji, Dane, and the rest of the board for everything that’s been accomplished this far! These people have their own families, businesses and careers to take care of everyday and have never failed to help me with anything I’ve ever asked of them.
Y’all sit tight, and we’ll see ya soon!

Heyyyy, my peeps! I keep telling y’all I value my people, and yesterday was no different. After the Mississippi Crossroads Farmer’s Market, Amy Howard Haleyand Gabrielle Turner came to the Winona Country Club to help this tired ole girl with some much needed cleaning/straightening/organizing! It’s still not perfect, but it’s leaps and bounds better than it was when we started. Every step is a step.

As bad as I wanted to do Sunday Togo plates today, it’s just not happening, but IT’S COMING! My target date to start that is Sunday October 6th.

Again, thank yous are never enough, but I am truly thankful for everyone that came out Thursday night and allowed us to cook supper for you! Despite the tea machine going on the blink and a few minor issues, the turnout was amazing!! When you sell out not once, but TWICE, I call that a win!! Thank you again, I hope you all enjoyed it.

The single most asked question I have gotten has been, “Will you be open at night?”
The answer to that is yes, eventually, but not yet. We still have equipment to swap out and things that just can’t happen in a snap, but it will happen. My goal is to accommodate YOUR needs, so what is that? Life is crazy busy for everyone these days. Kids, sports, work, school, homework, dance, football, the list never ends, right? So, what are your needs?
Meal Prep? Lunches for yourself? For the kiddos? Casseroles you can pop in the oven when you get home while you’re helping with homework or giving baths? Home cooked meals that are ready to eat because you had to work late and now your whole routine is thrown off? These are the things I’m interested in knowing from you! As far as opening at night, we all know that’s a huge need. My initial thought has been Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights. If the need is every night, we can grow into that.
Y’all speak up and let me know what you want to see happen!

Dates to remember:
Oct 3-5 I will not be open due to a previously booked wedding, but I do intend to start Sunday plates on the 6th!

Hey y’all! I’ve had MANY friend requests since I first made the announcement of The Turn, which is incredible! (I wouldn’t think they’d be scammers if we had over 100 mutual friends 😂)
Every breathing person that knows me, KNOWS that I’m as transparent as it gets. Yesterday was GREAT! There are SOOO many people that helped out yesterday from seeping and taking out the trash all the way to moving 1,000 pounds of equipment, but every step is a step. Steps are progress. People are valuable. Trial and error. What works? What didn’t work as well? What can we do to make it better? All these things come into play.
Today I am grateful, thankful, tired, optimistic, positive, and blessed beyond words for everyone that came out yesterday and gave me the opportunity to feed you. I’ve always said that my family, friends and coworkers have always loved my cooking, but all tastebuds were not created equal 😂.
Here’s the plan for today. My shelving units have finally come in. I’m using this time to get those put together and find everything “a place”. I’m not doing lunch today, but I will be doing supper plates that will be ready for pick up at 5:00.
