🎶 We’re excited to welcome back the very talented Steve McGrath, our final musical guest of the season, playing 1–4 PM on the north stage!

Beautiful fall days are getting fewer—and so are the days left in Skipper’s first season! Next Sunday, November 1st, is our last day for the season.

Come soak up the sunshine and enjoy good food with family and friends. We have plenty of fresh, house-made soups to warm you up, plus our regular menu favorites!

What a wonderful day honoring Dad’s legacy. ❤️

Thank you to everyone who came out today to support the first annual Skip Travaglin Memorial Food & Toy Drive! Your generosity brought in food, toys, and monetary donations to support the Open Door Soup Kitchen and its dedicated volunteers, who give their time each day to help our neighbors.

A special thank-you to:

• Dale Jones and the WZBG team for a wonderful live broadcast.
• Jennifer Lajoie and Bearingstar Insurance for your generous donation.
• The Winsted Fire Department for bringing their truck and spending time with our community.
• The 7CT Big Block Modified team for bringing the race car—what a treat for the kids and kids at heart!

Seeing so many friends, customers, and neighbors come together in Dad’s memory truly means the world to us. We loved visiting with everyone and hearing your feedback on the sneak peek of our upcoming breakfast menu!

Our kitchen is open until 7 PM this evening.

As we wrap up a wonderful first season, here are a few dates to remember:

• Sunday, November 1: Our final day of the season.
• Monday, November 2: We begin our break to prepare for the next chapter.
• Monday, November 9: Breakfast begins at Skipper’s!
