Have you heard about FRUTAS LA HORMIGUITA ?
Yes , no , maybe 😊

Well if you haven’t here’s a little history lesson on the company & a collage of what we specialize in and sale in a nutshell.

We’re located in Winston-Salem North Carolina the business was established in Grand Forks ND in 2015, we opened up in Winston-Salem to the public in 2019.

The company is locally owned by a Winston-Salem native (husband) & Anaheim California naitive (wife) NOT A a franchise.

One awesome Husand & Wife.

The name “La Hormiguita” was chosen because one ant is Weak but a Team of ants 🐜 are UNSTOPPABLE! You also can’t forget ants are everywhere sweets 🍩 🍦 are 😊 so that’s the history behind the name.

We operated in Grand Forks North Dakota for the summer of 2021 & it was awesome. On the way there on our tour we stopped and setup in every major city in between. We plan to open a location in FARGO & GF ND summer 2024 so to all of our supporters out that way stay tuned!

Yes we cater & we will do private events just shoot us a message or email.

We hope this post finds everyone well and gives you an idea of what type of Exotic drinks , treats & snacks we sell.

FUN FACT: all of our drinks , smoothies & lemonades are made from scratch with ALKALINE water , plant base 🌱 sweeteners & REAL FRUIT & lemons 🍋. Since we opened we vowed to NEVER use HIGH fructose corn syrup or any artificial added sugars.

We are also highly known for our LOADED NACHOS that are made with Ground Turkey.

We’re permanently located at 4975 Reynolda Rd in Winston-Salem North Carolina

Our Winter/Fall Hours of Operation & Operational days are

FRIDAY: 12 noon - 9pm

SATURDAY: 12 noon - 9pm

SUNDAY 12 noon - 9pm

We thank everyone who supports our business, our location will sooon become a North Carolina landmark as we have plans to add several different mobile food units and even something BIG inside our building.

We’re about one slow day away from being PERMANENTLY CLOSED

We would like to say Thank you soooooo much to everyone who has supported us continuously for the past few months & last 4 years since we launched, you guys are amazing & the reason we lasted this long!

It’s seems like the end is near for FLH in
North Carolina UNFORTUNATELY the slow/bad days have outweighed the good days in the last few months we’re literally drowning here and it just seems now we can’t get the consistency we need to remain open and efficient.

We have one more plan at hand and if this doesn’t work we’re done because our last operable day we made $15 for a 8 hour shift on Reynolda rd in Winston Salem & days like that will not keep the lights on and don’t motivate us as a company to keep pushing !

So many of you always ask “why are you guys never open” and the truth is because who would want to continuously open a business if no one ever came to patronize? The numbers , the followers the views don’t match with the income & in business that’s a problem . We feel we owed you guys that do support us this explanation.

We feel like this city hates us , we have people trying to destroy everything we’ve built with lies and fake reviews on google yelp and our social media’s. TRUE customers of ours know what we stand for and the type of Top Tier products we sell & offer!

A small business can only be but so strong because in the end we’re still human .

We have never been one to give up as we made it thru Covid so that should say a lot but at this point we’re ready to continue our journey elsewhere.

We know since the beginning we have offered our customers nothing short of QUALITY , real food , amazing customer service , real drinks & authentic Mexican snacks with real ingredients at a affordable cost.

So YES we’re closed until further notice please stay connected as we will give everyone a update in the next few weeks for what’s to come from Frutas La Hormiguita !
