I AM STILL LOOKING FOR SOMEONE WITH A TRAILER AND DOLLY TO HELP MOVE FRIDGES, FREEZERS, ETC.

Still need help....was definitely told today was the LAST DAY. I NEED my items out of 52 E Court Avenue. I have to go to work so I can only move them THIS EVENING. I'm going to ask if I can leave early but if I can't it would be AFTER 8 PM. IS THERE ANYONE WHO CAN HELP??!!!! I need to move tables, boxes, & appliances.

I need people to PACK BOXES & LOAD a U-Haul Tomorrow, Tuesday, November 11th. Have Dr. Appointment in a.m. so looking at help between 1 & 6 p.m. definitely, MAY RUN LATER. IF YOU CAN HELP ME, IT WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED. I MAY BE ABLE TO GET SOME $$ TO PAY. ABSOLUTELY MUST BE OUT OF BUILDING BY SATURDAY P.M.!!!!

Bring your friends and family by on November 15th for a celebratory feast! Talk Shop Lounge is offering a Thanksgiving buffet dinner. We will have spiral ham, turkey, mashed potato/gravy, green bean casserole, stuffing, a side salad and a dessert. Adults $11.99 children 12 and under $6.99. This is not an unlimited buffet.

HELP

REPOST......PLEASE READ!!!

I will be at the Cafe from 1 p.m. today, Tuesday, until the basement is empty. That is my goal.

I will be at the Cafe of Wednesday from 10 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. when I have to get ready for work.

ANYONE, WHO CAN HELP ME OUT (STAIRS, LIFTING, TRANSPORT TO STORAGE) WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED.

As a few of you know and others may be aware, my Café, Anything Sweet & More Café, is no longer open. As to why, I can only point to today’s economic situation; I survived COVID but not whatever this is. It’s easy to point fingers and place blame but in reality if you have a limited amount of money, eating out is not on the top of your list. I am devastated. I miss my regulars, my Kiwanians, friends…..

Can ANYONE HELP ME?

It’s hard to ask for help. A few regulars and friends have offered, and I turned them away because I feel like a failure. I couldn’t keep my dream alive. It couldn’t support itself & my household. Now I need HELP, both physical & monetary. The bills keep piling up and there never seems to be enough to cover them, no matter how much I work.

I need to pack up and leave the building I am in, and I can’t do it by myself. Circumstances have left me needing to work the other jobs I have to stay afloat.

I have only one usable hand (I had to get Carpal Tunnel surgery on my right hand earlier than planned) and a husband physically & mentally unable to step up.

I have no funds. I can’t pay for help; I can’t pay to stay in the building. I already owe back rent to the landlord, and he would like his building back. I do not blame him, I officially closed the end of September, it is now November. It sounds like whining but one thing after another just kept interrupting the process. I have approximately 3 days to get out and I CAN’T STOP WORKING AT MY OTHER JOBS.

I have no adequate means of transporting the contents of the building to storage. My Prius will hold a lot, but not appliances. Plus, no clue on how to disconnect a sink, dishwasher, or ice maker from their water sources.

I NEED:
• People who can carry items up from downstairs in the basement. I have A LOT of items in the basement of this building, including a rather large desk, some pegboard, and an old well-built table that’s heavy. I need to clear the basement shelving so it can be taken to the storage facility and reloaded with the Café contents.
• I need help consolidating and packing boxes as I have limited use of my right (dominant) hand. I no longer have time to go through items (that will have to happen at the storage end later) to determine what to sell, toss, & keep.
• Help transporting the items to storage here in Winterset and unloading them there. Again, the hand thing.
• I HAVE LIMITED HOURS IN WHICH TO DO THIS! As stated before, I have to work my other jobs, so I have small windows in which to get this done. I WILL LIST WHEN I WILL BE AT THE CAFÉ SEE ABOVE
• Help with the larger items like the sink, stove, shelving, fridges & freezers. I will need this help on TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 4TH. This is the only full day I have off.
