Crossroads Café has an immediate opening for a Kitchen Leader to join our growing team! We are looking for the right individual to operate and run our Kitchen and Café!
The Cafe Manager is responsible for running the daily operations of the kitchen and café, provides leadership and direction to cafe personnel. They will be cross trained in all areas and are expected to be flexible in performing any job as needed.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for ordering/ receiving and inventory control as assigned
Providing leadership and guidance to Cafe staff
Responsible for hiring and managing a team
Responsible for organization and cleanliness of all areas and aspects of the kitchen, including all food storage areas and proper rotation of all back stock to prevent food waste.
Responsible for consistency and high quality of all Cafe food products as well as Cafe customer service.
Production Scheduling, working with Cafe staff to delegate duties
Employee Relations (creating good communication with staff)
Cooking and food production
Enforcing Cafe and dealership procedures and policies
Build Menu and Specials
Follows health, safety, and sanitation guidelines
Creates and maintains a positive work environment
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED
Proficient with most kitchen tools/utensils
Culinary degree or certificate beneficial but not required
Minimum 2 years foodservice (restaurant or catering) is required
Management experience preferred but not required
Serve Safe manager certification preferred or completed within 6 months of hire
