Rest In Peace Jeff! Thank you for your service to our community!
The Woodstock Fire Department, Woodstock Rescue Squad and the EMS community are mourning the loss of Retired Chief Paramedic Jeff Hook. Jeff devoted his life to EMS working for many agencies before he began his career with Woodstock Fire Department as a volunteer medic back before we had paid Advance Life Support (ALS) staff, eventually becoming a paid paramedic and then Chief Paramedic. Jeff was instrumental in shaping the EMS program that Woodstock has today.
A memorial service for Retired Chief Paramedic Hook will be held at Woodstock Fire Department 242 Tinker Street from 13:00 – 15:00 (1:00 – 3:00 PM) on Sunday, November 12th. Please join us as we remember Jeff and celebrate his life of service with his family and the EMS community that served with him Diaz Ambulance Service, TransCare Ambulance Service, EMStar, Empress Ambulance Service and Alamo Ambulance Service, Inc.
Rest in peace, Jeff, we’ll take it from here.
