At Forbidden Barrel Brewing, we know that great beer is only part of the story—the real magic comes from the amazing people who gather around it. That's why we're thrilled to announce our June Barrel of Friends Award recipient:

🏆 The Wednesday Night Crew from First Lutheran Church in Worthington! 🏆

This incredible group has been supporting Forbidden Barrel long before we ever opened our doors. Through the challenges of the COVID shutdowns and throughout the years since, they've continued to show up, support local, and share in the fellowship that makes our community special.

Whether it's after church, following choir practice, or simply gathering around a table for good conversation and laughter, this group has become a cherished part of the Forbidden Barrel family. Their friendship, encouragement, and loyalty have meant more to us than words can express.

💔 The Tater Tot Hot Dish Pizza is heading into retirement.

Before anyone starts a petition, forms a support group, or chains themselves to a pizza oven... don't worry! It's only temporary. We figured after carrying the menu for over six years, our beloved Tater Tot Hot Dish Pizza deserved a little vacation. 🏖️🍕

But don't be sad... because we've been busy cooking up some NEW reasons to visit!

One man and one woman will earn the opportunity to represent our area at the State Steinholding Championship during New Ulm Oktoberfest on Saturday, October 3, 2026, in New Ulm, Minnesota!

💪 Hold a full stein straight out in front of you.
⏱️ No bending. No spilling. No mercy.
🏅 Last person standing wins!

Whether you're a seasoned Oktoberfest competitor or just looking to test your grit, this is your chance to prove you've got the endurance, determination, and stein-holding strength to compete with the best in the state.
