A very special princess had a birthday! I made 15 pairs of princess cupcakes and no surprise, the Annas and Elsas went first (that’s why they’re not pictured). Maybe next time I’ll remember to take a picture after unloading and not have to bum some from the host. 🤦🏻‍♀️

Finally posting the cake I made for this awesome medieval dual birthday party. Since a cake of the time (if they had them) wouldn’t have been overly elaborate, I went with stone castle ruins vibes adorned with a medieval lace, pewter stencil. I picked the perfect crown and dagger for the top, whipped out a banner et voila!

It’s May and in Oklahoma that means tornadoes and even after I tried to make our 8’x3’ storm shelter more comfortable last year, I decided it needed more storage this year. The grass (which sits in a silicone drip pan) is for the pup to use. I think we have just about everything we need down there. There’s even an iPad holder on the wall that makes it feel more like watching the weather in the living room. I tried very hard to make it feel nice and not scary for Raylan.
