This week we had our draw for the Triggerfish competition, and the winner is Nicolas du Plessis!

Congrats on your prize. Besides the BLBS bag, he also won beers from Triggerfish as well as tickets to their Extreme Beer Fest on the 25th of July, so we hope he brings his BLBS bag with!

The Belgian Beer Festival 2026 is almost here, and the full lineup of 10 Belgian inspired homebrews has officially been revealed.

From bold and complex to refreshing and beautifully balanced, there will be something on tap for every beer lover to discover.

The festival date is fast approaching, so do not leave your booking until the last minute. Only 125 tickets are available.

In this week!

We have new beers from
First, we have 'King Julian IPA', a punchy and dank IPA with some serious hop character. Brewed in collaboration with Just Brewing Company.

Then also from Afro we have 'Don't Judge Me ESB with Naartjie and Rooibos'. This is an English style bitter brewed for the African Beer Cup, with a healthy dose of naartjie and Rooibos.

Then, last but not least, we now stock 'Erdinger Radler', a very low 2.6% lemon radler. A perfect beer for a slow and relaxing day.

So, come on down and try some new beers!

We have received their yearly batch of Black Oil, all three of them!

Black Oil Imperial Stout, Imperial Coffee and Imperial Pinotage now available in store.

Please be aware that these are all limited edition Imperial barrel aged beers, with an ABV of 13%. They are made only once a year, so once they are gone, they are gone.
