Tonight is our last dinner at 75 Kloof Street.

We opened with a belief that great food, a great vibe and great people could make something worth coming back to. You came back, again and again, and that has meant everything to us.

ëlgr is evolving and we’ll be sure to share what’s next.

Thank you to our staff, guests and suppliers who helped make it all happen, we are so grateful to you all.

At ëlgr, celebrating the sweet life has always been a joy and thanks to San-Mari we have been able to do it in absolute style.

Case in point: our Basque Cheesecake, one that has had many delicious lives here - a recipe that San-Mari has perfected and reimagined in many iterations.

The current vanilla version with berry sauce reflects the autumn mood perfectly - and it might be the best one yet.

The season’s best have always been, and will always be Jesper’s main inspiration.

Right now, indulge in an autumn menu brimming with big flavours – including some of our tried and tested favourites plus hearty mains and as always, our Pizzas Red and White - shared plates of sheer deliciousness.

We’ll be serving our full menu of new and signature dishes right up to our final night’s service on 30 May.
