LUNI Art Gallery
Seelan Sundoo, accomplished South African chef and renowned restaurateur, opened the doors, which was endorsed by Mandala Mandela, on the 25th May 2017, to a visual delight art gallery named Luni. They also appeared on the TV Expresso show.
Luni, which means salt of the earth, or riverbed in Sanskrit, is keeping in line with the significance of its name. Based in Salt River, Cape Town this creative space gives local and aspiring artists a nurturing space to display their art and grow alongside other talented creative’s, and provide customers and artists alike, a beautiful environment to interact with clients.
The selection of local artists will exhibit their work for a 4-6 week period, after which new artists will be brought into the gallery to keep the atmosphere fresh, and continue to give new talent a space to showcase their creative work.
