A guest stopped by at Cafe du Vin for something to drink, and what started as a simple visit turned into a wonderful conversation with him and his wife.

As they were leaving, he smiled and said to the waitron, "I want to make your day."

He then left us with a 1,000% tip.😁

"The food, service and location at Cafe du Vin is exceptional. We were a small group, but all meals arrived timeously and everyone absolutely enjoyed their choice. I had the hake and chips and I can say without a doubt that it is possibly the best hake and chips I have ever had at a restaurant (I'm a retiree so I have had many fish and chips). My wife shared this sentiment. Well done to the management team, chef and staff and be proud. Keep up the great experience that you are delivering. Lastly, the fish was lightly battered, crispy, pan hot from the first bite to the last and the chips were crispy. Enjoy."
