For the Bosman Sunset Soirée we leaned into a more edgy, fashion forward palette.

Chocolate brown with white and stainless steel detail set the tone.

We were fortunate to have the first 45 arctic ice king proteas of the season from the Bosman protea fields to complete the table.

Keeping things considered, working with what is grown on the farm and letting that lead the design.

The wind had us slightly on edge during setup, but by late afternoon it dropped and gave way to a calm, beautiful evening under the stars.

Mothersday! It’s a beautiful thing. A celebration of womenhood and generational love.

As I move into a new phase of being a mom of two teenage daughters, I look up to my own mom with such admiration for guiding us so gently into becoming the women we are today! Thank you mom for the gift of knowing our own strength and carving our own story! I look forward to sharing this journey with my two “poppies”.

Wishing all my friends and followers the greatest Mother’s day, whether you are a mom, aspire to be one or have a motherly heart to those around you. It’s all the same thing ❤️ Love will always win!!!

R O S E & G R E G

This past weekend proved extra challenging for providers in the wedding and event space, here in the Cape. I read somewhere that plan B’s sometimes work better because we give so much more to meet the couple’s original expectations. I always tell my couples that your day will be exactly what it should be and excepting that makes the ride so much better.

Greg and Rose embraced every minute of their cold and stormy wedding day. Their guests played ball and everyone had the best time.

PlanB was absolutely perfect, cozy and the cold drew everyone to the dance floor where they danced the night away.
