So for those of you that don't know - the VanderBolt Coffee Company is an events driven mobile coffee business that has had its roots here in Hermanus for the last 5 or so years.
Our monthly revenue has always been a 30/70 split - 30% day to day trade and 70% events/functions/weddings/sports/music/etc. Over the last 10 months we have muscled on without the events and have had kind support from many locals.
However today was the first day in our history that we failed to make one sale from our base in the Whale Garden in town. We do differ slightly to other similar businesses as I wanted this to be a vehicle of employment and have comfortably carried two full time staff members up until 4 months ago.
It’s time for a change and I would be open to all suggestions as well as constructive criticism - I don't want this to be an open forum but if you do have any ideas please feel free to pop me a whatsapp or PM me.
- Wedding venues looking for a permanent solution,
- Schools looking for an extra income,
- Sports clubs for events - hot and/or cold beverages.
It may be that I can't see the wood for the trees - lets meet and grab a coffee!
