On Saturday, as per usual, the GREAT team was busy at the Parkrun.
Lucky was leading the pack with John and Paige charging up the rear🐶🏃🏼‍♂️, when a runner approached me(Corrie) with a small bundle. A lost duckling she had found on the road. She needed me to take it to the vet.

I promptly took the duckling and drew him close to my body. Up he scurried into my neck and stayed there whilst I rocked back and forth. (Grandma mode 🤪)
Long story short...I asked two wonderful ladies whether they would like to adopt a duckling as Paige would not be too excited with an addition to the family.
They kindly obliged and thought of the newly relocated family on Sumaridge Wine Estate. who with no hesitation gave this duckling a new loving home.
Thanks for taking in a lost duckling, family. Truly appreciate it 🙏🏻👍🏻

We would like to inform all our supporters and new customers that we will be closed for a few days. One of our employees was mugged and needs a few days respite. As we are a two man operation we will be back ASAP with your daily coffee, tea, hot chocolate and ice creams.
Thank G-d, he is fine and just has a knee injury.
