We recently ran a competition with the wonderful Sunshine Simplicities, and today (๐™ฎ๐™š๐™จ, ๐™—๐™š๐™ฉ๐™ฉ๐™š๐™ง ๐™ก๐™–๐™ฉ๐™š ๐™ฉ๐™๐™–๐™ฃ ๐™ฃ๐™š๐™ซ๐™š๐™ง๐Ÿ˜€) we are beyond excited to celebrate our winner, Wendy Knott Craig! ๐Ÿฅณ

Wendy is no stranger to the misty charms of Hogsback, but letโ€™s just say her previous visits wereโ€ฆ ๐™š๐™ซ๐™š๐™ฃ๐™ฉ๐™›๐™ช๐™ก. When we asked Wendy about her history with the mountain, she shared two gems that had us in stitches :

๐“๐ก๐ž "๐๐š๐ฌ๐ฌ๐ž๐ ๐Ž๐ฎ๐ญ" ๐‡๐จ๐ง๐ž๐ฒ๐ฆ๐จ๐จ๐ง ๐Ÿ’ (31 years ago): Newlyweds on a budget, a stubborn tin of ham, and a deep cut led Wendy to the only medical professional in town at the timeโ€”the local vet! ๐Ÿพ After being patched up with a strict "donโ€™t drink with these meds" warning, Wendy naturally celebrated with wine and Amarula. Result? In the early 2000s, Wendy and her Plascon colleagues decided to tackle a 3-day hike in December. Despite a freezing rainstorm, they forged ahead, slipping and sliding down the mountain in the mud for two hours... only to realise they had started at the end of the trail! ๐Ÿคฆโ€โ™€๏ธ
