This weekly pop-up market & trading space was established in 2011, by a pair of friends that realised the importance of creating opportunities within their local community. The Merry Widow Country Retreat hosted and sponsored the market venue at the "Old Mill" for the first 8 years. In 2020 the market expanded to a bigger space to include more local traders at the Hopefield Dutch Reformed church

hall, Cnr of Church / Voortrekker street. Now we are lucky to have found a new permanent venue at The Riverside barn, 38 River street, Hopefield!

You should smell the aromas today:

French Onion rice soup topped with rosemary garlic chicken - toooo delish!

Then we’ve also got pancakes, samosas, fresh Waterblommetjie’s, kaiings, sauerkraut, kimchi, kefir water, greek style double cream yoghurt, gluten free snacks, lots of fruit and veggies, artisan cheese and sourdough bread.

And cuppacinos.

Open till 1pm on Saturday.
