😂😂 Dear Apartment People... we need to talk.

You order a KSh 210 shawarma on Bolt Send or Glovo.

I pick it up, fight Nairobi traffic, dodge potholes, protect your food from rain and dust, arrive at your location, then call you...

Me: "Hello, I've arrived with your order."

You: "Woriya... kuja 45th Floor, Door 5B."

😂😂😂

Excuse me... did you order a shawarma or hire a personal butler?

Now I have to:
🏍️ Leave my bike (my wife) outside.
🪖 Remove my helmet.
🧤 Remove my gloves.
🎒 Carry your now warm,leaky and sweaty shawarma.
🏢 Guess which of the seven identical apartment blocks is yours.
🛗 Find a lift... only to discover it needs a fingerprint, face scan, retina scan and approval from the ancestors.
🚶🏾Then the caretaker says, "Lift ni ya resitents pekee,tumieko stairs."

So now I'm climbing stairs like I'm training for the Olympics... for a delivery fee that can't even buy lunch.

Meanwhile, my bike is outside praying nobody sits on it, steals my helmet, or decides today is the day to disappear with it.

Dear customers, we genuinely appreciate your orders. But if you're living in an apartment, please come down to the gate or reception and collect your parcel unless you've agreed otherwise beforehand.

Remember, we are delivery riders, not apartment explorers.

😂 Riders, be honest...

What's the highest floor you've ever been sent to?

And customers... would meeting your rider downstairs really ruin your day?
