It is so incredibly unfair and frustrating to receive a 1 Star Review for having the audacity to go on vacation😡
Not allowed to mention any names, but you know who you are, and I sincerely hope you read this.

Dear One Star Review Giver ✨
We are so sorry to have inconvenienced you by taking a (planned in advance) short break to rest and recharge.
While we did update our Facebook hours, put out a social media notice, and placed a sign on our counter prior to closing for the week, it seems we missed reaching you.
We deeply apologize that our human need for rest left a negative impression, and we hope to welcome you back during our normal operating hours."

We are officially reopening our doors after our vacation, and we brought back two special treasures from the beautiful town of De Rust to share with you.
We want these unique pieces to become a permanent part of our shop's story and history, but first, they need names—and we want you to choose them!🎨

We are taking a short, well-deserved break! CHAPTER 7 Coffee will be CLOSED next week from 15–19 June.

A taste of home on a rainy day 🌧️🥧

The weather in Kleinmond is properly cold and rainy today, which usually calls for one thing: Quality control with a blazing fire, my dogs and a glass of red wine in hand😉
As many of you know, I tend to stay behind the scenes, but today I couldn't resist helping myself to one of our quiches.
There’s a special story in every slice—these are my mom’s original recipes. She taught Hencia everything she knows, and Hencia, in turn, passed those secrets down to her sister-in-law, Lindsay. ( Both turned out to be absolute naturals!) 👩‍🍳✨
Watching them work alongside our brilliant barista, Marquin Brikkels (yes, it’s a family affair!), reminds me why Chapter 7 Coffee feels so much like home.
I have to severely restrict myself from having one every day and instead head to the gym up the road, but after that first bite this afternoon, I was very nearly tempted to go back for a second!
If you’re looking to escape the rain this coming week, pop in for a fantastic cup of coffee and a freshly baked quiche, muffin or sweet treat, we promise it’s still up to scratch! ☕💛
