After a doubtful start, Mother Nature finally gave us a hint of a smile, and the young anglers made the most of it.

It's been an incredible week of camaraderie, resilience, and outstanding sportsmanship, and today was another reminder of why the future of South African angling is in such good hands.

Day 3 – SA Junior Bottom Fish Nationals 🎣

After a weather-enforced break yesterday, the young anglers had a chance to relax and recharge. This morning they woke to calmer conditions, with boats lined up and fishermen eagerly waiting for the call to launch.

When the green light finally came, they wasted no time getting down to business, making the most of the improved conditions and enjoying a fantastic day's fishing.

Here's hoping Mother Nature plays her part again tomorrow as the competition heads into another exciting day. Tight lines to all our anglers! 🇿🇦🐟🌊
