π§π§ Marmite-, Biltong- en Kaasmuffins π§π§
Hierdie hartige muffins is propvol geur en perfek vir ontbyt, middagetes, pieknieks of as 'n smullekker peuselhappie. Die kombinasie van sout biltong, romerige Cheddarkaas en Marmite gee elke happie 'n heerlike, ryke smaak.
π Bestanddele
- π₯© 150 g biltong, fyn gekap
- π§ 3 eetlepels botter, gesmelt
- πΎ 2 koppies koekmeel
- π₯ 2 teelepels bakpoeier
- π¬ 2 eetlepels suiker
- π₯ 2 eiers
- π₯ 1 koppie melk
- π§ 1 koppie gerasperde Cheddarkaas
- π― 3 eetlepels Marmite
- πΏ 'n Handvol vars grasuie, fyn gekap
π©βπ³ Metode
1. Verhit die oond tot 190 Β°C en smeer 'n muffinpan goed met botter of spuitolie.
2. Meng die gesmelte botter en fyngekapte grasuie saam en laat dit effens afkoel.
3. Meng die koekmeel, bakpoeier en suiker in 'n aparte bak totdat alles eweredig versprei is.
4. Klits die eiers, melk en Marmite liggies saam in 'n groot mengbak.
5. Voeg die botter-en-grasuimengsel, die gerasperde kaas en die gekapte biltong by die nat bestanddele en roer goed deur.
6. Vou die droΓ« bestanddele versigtig by die nat mengsel in totdat alles net-net gemeng is. Moenie oormeng nie.
7. Skep die beslag in die voorbereide muffinholtes en vul elkeen ongeveer twee derdes vol.
8. Bak vir ongeveer 20 minute, of totdat die muffins goudbruin en gaar is.
9. Haal die muffins uit die pan en laat dit op 'n draadrakkie afkoel voordat dit voorgesit word.
π‘ Wenk: Hierdie muffins smaak heerlik warm met botter en is ook ideaal vir kosblikke of as 'n sout happie saam met sop.

- π¬ 2 tablespoons sugar
- π₯ 2 eggs
- π₯ 1 cup milk
- π§ 1 cup grated Cheddar cheese
- π― 3 tablespoons Marmite
- πΏ A handful of fresh chives, finely chopped

1. Preheat the oven to 190Β°C (375Β°F) and grease a muffin tin well with butter or non-stick cooking spray.
2. Mix the melted butter and chopped chives together and allow the mixture to cool slightly.
3. In a separate bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, and sugar until evenly mixed.
4. In a large mixing bowl, lightly whisk together the eggs, milk, and Marmite.
5. Add the butter and chive mixture, grated Cheddar cheese, and chopped biltong to the wet ingredients. Stir well to combine.
6. Gently fold the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined. Do not overmix.
7. Spoon the batter into the prepared muffin cups, filling each about two-thirds full.
8. Bake for approximately 20 minutes, or until the muffins are golden brown and cooked through.
9. Remove the muffins from the tin and allow them to cool on a wire rack before serving.
