Ramones Coffee & Biltong Shop is named after the co-owner Ramona Avenant, by her husband, Koos Avenant, as a living monument to her.

The shop was established after circumstances lead us to needing a self income. Its existence serves as a living monument, a thank you, a memorial to what Ramona (nickname - Ramones at her working enironment) has done. Construction of the shop took about 3 months, of which the owner did most of the laborious work himself, with the help of the manager, Vera. We offer the following: Deliveries to bus

inesses and schools, meals of the day, catering for small groups and events and platters (bookings are essential for small groups and events, deliveries and platters are to be ordered in advance.) For deliveries, it is essential to specify dietary requirements. For our patrons security, the entrance gate is kept locked.

We are sad to announce that we have made the decision to close the coffee-shop side of RAMONES with immediate effect due to constant harassment of our clients by prostitutes, drug dealing and other criminal activities in the area. We will let you know as soon as a new premises has been identified. Until then Adios and remember RAMONES!! We will miss you.

GOOD MORNING RAMONES POPULATION! ITS THURSDAY MORNING AND TIME FOR OUR RAMONES COFFEE TRIVIA!

GOOD MORNING RAMONES POPULATION!
It's Thursday and time for our Ramones coffee trivia. Today we thought we would tell you what ELSE you can do with coffee, apart from drinking it of course! So here goes:
- When shopping for perfume, take some coffee grounds with you in your bag and have a good sniff in between smelling each perfume to refresh your nose!
- Sprinkle spent coffee grounds around the base of your garden plants and it will stop snails and slugs from munching them!
- A mixture of coffee grounds and sugar, fed to a pot plant and watered regularly, will revive houseplants that have turned yellow in winter.
