By royal decree, the waitlist for The King shall close in 24 hours. This is your final chance to be granted early access. Miss it, and you take your chances with the rest of the realm. With just 1,400 bottles of 100% Kingston Black in existence, His Majesty will not wait around.

For those unfamiliar: The King is made from 100% Kingston Black, known the world over as the King of Cider Apples. It is a rare and temperamental variety, notoriously hard to grow, but when the season is right, it delivers a cider no other apple can. In five generations, we have only crowned a King a handful of times. This is one of those years.

Six months of rest in ex-whisky barrels from Hellyers Road. Bottled like champagne, the Normandy way. 9.8%, deep golden-amber, and built to be savoured slowly, as all royal audiences should be.

On our walk through the orchard this afternoon, Penny, our Spreyton orchard explorer, sniffed out the last apple standing. 🍎

The harvest may be over, but this little one was determined to hang on just a little longer. Penny was pretty pleased with her discovery!
