We did it! 🩷

Last night we were absolutely honoured to be announced as winners at the Wedding Industry Awards... all while we were busy cooking at an event and listening to the awards on our phones! It made the moment even more special because that's exactly where we love to be, doing what we are so passionate about.

We are incredibly grateful and truly humbled by every single couple who took the time to vote for us. Your trust in us to be part of one of the biggest days of your lives means more than words can ever say. Without you, none of this would be possible. ❤️

A huge congratulations also goes out to so many of the amazing wedding vendors we have the privilege of working alongside. Central Queensland has such an incredible wedding industry, and we're so proud to be part of it. 💕

Even our girl Meg .cakes_yeppoon made top 3.. Woohoo...team work makes the dream work.

Hopefully next year we'll actually make it to Brisbane for the awards night instead of listening in from the kitchen! 😂

💕JED + SARAH💕

Back at the beautiful The Orchard Yeppoon for Jed & Sarah. Kicking it off with a classic 1m grazing table, then on to dinner with a 2 course alternate drop. With chilli caramel pork belly & maple sweet potato and bacon empanadas, finishing dinner with our Katsu Chicken and Beef Tenderloin.

Cake made by Cakes by Tegan CQ served by us and getting to hang out with Art by Joel | Live Artist for the second time this week 😄.

We even got to create a beautiful breakfast graze the following day for all the family to enjoy, what a way to end a the wedding festivities.

It’s has been a mammoth month this June, with soo many wonderful couples getting married, and enjoying all kinds of different menu styles.

For Beth and Alex it was a snack ladder and two course alternate drop with Main course and Dessert.
The couple picked some of our favourites, Eyefillet and Pork Loin with our Honey cake & strawberry danish and Spiced Apple cheesecake.

We are massive dessert people if you couldn’t tell😋 And topping the sweet treats off was a beautiful cake made by Meg Creative Cakes, Yeppoon

❤️MEGAN + SAM❤️

Some weddings are extra special, and Megan & Sam’s was definitely one of them. ❤️

These two are absolute foodies, just like us, so we knew from day one that the menu had to be something pretty spectacular… and wow, did they absolutely nail their selections!

We kicked the celebrations off after the ceremony with roaming canapés and our Focaccia Pizza Bar, before moving into our Family Feasting menu, where the tables were loaded with platter after platter of deliciousness. And can we talk about that maple roast pork? It was an absolute crowd favourite and disappeared in record time!

Our beautiful L-shaped bar also made an appearance, with Mikaly and Cameron swapping their chef’s apron and waiter’s tray for bar service duties. Safe to say we’re a team of jack-of-all-trades around here, and we wouldn’t have it any other way!

As if everyone still had room, the evening rolled straight into our Cannoli Bar, before being topped off with the most beautiful croquembouche by TMF Cake Designs| Bespoke Wedding Cakes . It was the perfect sweet finish to an incredible feast.

One of the things we’ve loved most about Megan & Sam is that they’ve joined us at every single Tasting Night, not because they had to, but simply because they love food as much as we do. They’re our kind of people! 🍴❤️

Congratulations, you two. Thank you for letting us be part of such an incredible celebration.

Now go and enjoy married life in that gorgeous new home of yours. We wish you both a lifetime of love, laughter, amazing meals, and memories to match.
