Today marks our shop's 4th anniversary. ❤️
On July 6, 2022, we opened the doors to our beautiful space and welcomed our very first customers. It was a chaotic day, with head office, media, and people from all over coming through our doors. Needless to say, we were exhausted, completely overwhelmed, and had no idea what we were doing.
Over the past four years, so much has changed.
We've had our share of crazy customers—but we've been even more fortunate to meet so many incredible ones who genuinely care about our staff and our shop. We've also been lucky to have amazing people work alongside us, many of whom have become close friends.
In four years, we've seen just about everything: a leaking roof, a flooded toilet, equipment breakdowns, medical emergencies, a break-in, mugs mysteriously disappearing (seriously, I don't think I could've kept them even if they'd been nailed down!), surprise birthday parties, meetings and meet-ups, first dates, celebrities stopping by, and so much more. Every day brings something new, and that's part of what makes this journey so memorable.
To our friends and family, thank you for believing in us, supporting us, and helping make this dream a reality. Owning a small business is more work than most people could ever imagine, but we truly love what we do.
We're incredibly proud of everything we've accomplished over the past four years, and we're excited to see what the future holds. Here's to many more years of serving this amazing community.
