A little update we know many of you have been waiting on…
The development permit application for the Inglewood taproom has officially been submitted to the City of Calgary by the property owners. Same corner we’ve had the best times at and a brand new building that will eventually become the future home of Ol’ B.
There’s still a long road ahead and plenty of work to be done. Timelines are up in the air, but after almost two years of meetings, drawings, revisions, conversations, and figuring out what comes next…it feels really good to finally have this big step underway.
Losing the taproom in 2024 was heartbreaking for our team, this neighbourhood, and the community that made that space what it was. We’ve missed the little moments. The packed nights. The familiar faces. The feeling of having a place to gather. Through all of this, our production, sales, marketing, admin, and delivery teams have continued showing up every day and keeping this thing moving forward. We’re forever grateful to have such a dedicated and enthusiastic crew.
So, what comes next isn’t just about rebuilding a building. It’s an opportunity to create the next chapter of Ol’ Beautiful together.
We want to bring you along for the ride through the behind-the-scenes details, the progress, and everything in between. This community has carried us through an incredibly tough season and we genuinely would not still be here without your support.
