✨ WE ARE 9 ✨

It's honestly something I had never pondered. So many years of baking, cooking and serving you. It has been hard, so hard. Especially this last year! But we're here! Keep on keepin' on as they say. Every week is a new challenge, every day I learn a lesson (usually the hard way) and I appreciate every single one of you - along with every hard lesson. Whether we see you every day, once a month or we just met - there will always be a seat at Tart & Soul for you. Thanks for sticking with us. It's wild to have a food business for almost a decade in a weird office building in a seasonal part of town...but it's doing. We're worth the wait, worth the hike, worth finding parking, we're doing amazing delicious things and IYKYK.

Unfortunately we will not be at the Tantallon Farmer's Market today since we are a bit short handed, BUT we will have these extra and delicious savoury + sweet bialys in the case (old cheddar, garlic oil, roast tomatoes and basil//rhubarb cinnamon) and some confetti sando cookies!

Our sweet summer snooze is coming up! Gosh knows we all need it. We will be closed in the cafe Friday June 26 (for our staff appreciation party! 🥳) and then the week of June 29 - July 3. Back at it (Mondays pending after) Tues July 7!

Also next week will be our 9th year open and that's insane to me. Maybe the hardest one yet, so thanks for sticking it out! We'd love to see ya!

FAT PAULIE is our special this week! Something a bit different! A zippy pasta salad with iceberg, cucumber, cherry tomatoes, pickled red onion, feta, Hungarian salami, giardiniera + pepperoncini vinaigrette! It's good stuff!

Soup this week is roasted red pepper+ tomato!

Salad is couscous veg with poppyseed vin

We also have some cute lil cheese snackers in the grab + go with babybel, balderson old cheddar, pickles and grapes! Perfect for when you are so sweaty and just need to eat something cold.
