✨️Appreciation Post✨️
Four years ago, Fusions began at Pugwash Farmers' Market with a table, a dream, and a lot of uncertainty. We were also lucky enough to become the first hot food vendors in the Market Hub, something I’ll always be incredibly grateful for.
I didn’t have all the answers, and truthfully, there were many moments where I questioned myself along the way. Starting something new can feel incredibly vulnerable. There were people who didn’t understand the vision, people who doubted it, and moments where discouragement felt louder than support.
But even through that, the kindness I received from this community, carried me further than I can explain. The market heads, Marsha and Aldon, Volunteers and fellow vendors, and so many familiar faces week after week gave me encouragement when I needed it most. Whether it was advice, support during slow days, words of reassurance, or simply believing in what I was trying to build, it all mattered more than you probably realized at the time.
The farmers market gave Fusions a place to grow before we had anything else. It gave me confidence when mine was shaken and reminded me that community truly is one of the most powerful things.
Looking back now, I feel incredibly grateful for every person who played a part in this journey especially during the moments that felt defeating. Fusions would not be where it is today without the support, patience, and kindness that surrounded us from the very beginning.
Thank you for helping me quietly turn a small dream into something real. ❤️
