Morgan Casting Is feeling festive and excited to be on board our next feature film, shooting in Canton, Mississippi.

STANDBY SANTA, CHRISTMAS ON THE MISSISSIPPI

Storyline: Christmastime in small town USA. A love triangle, mixed in with a real estate swindle. NY city developer Daniel Reynolds sweeps into town, to swindle Madison Swanson's grandmother Maggie Driver, into selling her properties while promising to get them historically designated. Madison Swanson girl with strong, hometown roots; town belle, president of Tourism Board, Chair of Christmas Festival and realtor, while almost falling for suave, flashy Daniel, simultaneously reconnects with her high school sweetheart Jake, who has returned to town for Christmas.

Filming starts Dec 1st, 2026 (11-day shoot). Non-Union.
Pays $250-$300 + 10% AF (varies per role posted on our breakdown below)

SEEKING MALE BODY BUILDERS FOR KEY ROLES IN TV SERIES

Seeking fit guys to portray a body builder and a gym trainer. No dialogue on camera. Reenactment. Acting experience is a plus, but open to all interested in giving it a shot!

ALEX/ALEJANDRO, THE BODY BUILDER: Male, 40s, Open ethnicity. He is a competitive body builder, seen wearing shorts, running shoes, a tight tank top and weight belt. Seeking a fit and muscular actor. Leg day in the gym goes south and results in some serious injuries, as Alex/Alejandro finds that he can no longer move his legs (after he collapses to the ground doing his squat exercises). Seeking an actor who can handle himself with in a gym and able to do squats well. Strong physical acting skills are a plus. Must be able to show pain and shock. This story is set in Spain so we welcome any Hispanic submissions; however, we are indeed open to all ethnic backgrounds (to reflect the diversity seen in a large metropolis). Character name may easily change based on casting decision. What's most important is that our talent looks like a competitive bodybuilder.

GYM TRAINER: Male, fit and muscular, in his Mid 50s to late 60s. He rushes over to Alejandro to help him in the gym after Alejandro’s leg day results in serious injuries.

Trust me, these scripts have some excellent opportunities for actors to showcase their skills, especially great physical acting, plus showing us a range of emotions.
