Hey Gang!✌️There are many hurdles that come with running a restaurant, and our team is always up for a challenge, but sometimes certain things are out of our control. Right now the Canadian oyster industry is facing huge loses from two different parasitic diseases which even though they’re not harmful to humans, they are killing off hundreds of thousands of canadian oysters. This is resulting not only in millions of dollars lost for this amazing industry but also will take years for it to recoup and return to normal oyster producing levels.

We absolutely love oysters and they have been a big part of the GC experience, so we are sad to say we are going to stop serving oysters for the time being. This isn’t so long, but hopefully see you soon.

That being said today will be our last $2 a shuck oyster Thursday for now, so please join us tonight to slurp these beauties on the cheap!
